Yes, just as you would put the respect on yours.

Now imagine this, you want people to know you as they get to know your brand and understand the commitment that you're willing to sacrifice to enable the hospitality to your customers. But have you realized that the very second you're sacrificing to provide hospitality to them is the same sacrifice that can be put towards building your professional brand?!
SMALL TALK
Let's just say small talks lead to your pathway. I want to share a story that will always lead me to risk any chance because that's when I learned anything is possible.
One day I needed a job but I was still young, 16 just wanting the endless possibilities of my imagination. I was on the phone with my friend and as I'm on the phone with her, her manager approached her saying he wants to expand positions for the company, however, he wasn't focused on just expanding physically he was focused on building a strong team for the department who had determination and innovative ideas that could reflect highly on the company.
“I’ll see you at 2:30 pm tomorrow” - tomorrow became the first day of my training just by the risk of speaking to be the solution to all of our problems.

From customer to employee, this job became an essential overall view of how important it is to build connections even from afar. This later became the start of interest sparking where I was able to introduce to him my own family business which he was more than happy to support and share.
But always remember, this is ONE way how building connections with professional colleagues can be an important part of building your professional brand.
