But maybe you should since it’s made just for you!

In digital marketing, personalization refers to adjusting recommendations and content according to user data to provide a more relevant and customized experience that eventually increases engagement and conversions.
According to AB Tasty, It should be enough to claim that consumers want customization. They have a greater desire for individualized goods now, to the point that they will pay for goods that are specially made for them. Additionally, individuals are amenable to exchanging personal information for tailored offers and recommendations.
But how would you personalize it?
“This is your DJ, DJ Rex and we’re gonna get your day started right with your recent favorites, kicking it off with John Legend”. Sorry, I got too personal. With Spotify's "Discovery Weekly" feature, this is an excellent example of personalization. Each user's unique playlist of recommended music is created based on their listening habits, interests, and online activity. Every week, Spotify's algorithm creates a new playlist based on an individual's past musical preferences, favorite artists, and genres. This strategy not only increases user engagement but also shows how successful personalized content delivery can be in drawing in new and keeping clients.
It amazes me to this day how well personalization in companies is used to capture the exact interests of their target audience.
I'm further interested to know which demographic areas are more willing to share personal information to make shopping and advice easier for them. As the co-CEO of my family business, Pemba Foods, reading this article enabled me to dig further into my target audience to grab more and return customers. While products are being purchased, offering a similar choice option would be a great way to engage the customer as they shop. Along with suggestions for what to cook, I'm also up for a quiz that would give them ideas for what to pair with the condiments and some of our old kitchen recipes.
Before learning about personalization, it would be harder to let everyone know how to use our products but once I started learning about personalization, it's like it personalized the idea for me!
How will you use personalization to grab your returning and next customers?
